This machine came to us as a brand new self propelled, wheeled stump grinder. We removed the wheels and axles and all associated hydraulics, then fabricated a rubber tracked undercarriage.

This machine is 80hp and has extendable/retractable tracks, ranging between 889mm/35” for narrow access and 1320mm/52” for a stable grinding platform. The cutting capacity of the machine is 500mm/20” above and 500mm/20” below the ground level and the cutting arc is 2440mm/96”.

Lawrence Tree Services engaged us in assisting with the engineering of lawn edging for a formal garden, from the architect’s plan. A definitive steel edge was created to separate the gravel path from the lawn area, incorporating segments for rose gardens.

We were approached by Jonnie Wake, Director/Designer of Landmark Gardens Ltd, which specialize in hard and soft landscaping, to stump grind on one of their projects. Landmark Gardens were contracted to create a new garden within an original Victorian walled garden setting and they needed us to grind the area, where numerous trees had been cut down, prior to starting their work. Access to the property was via a crane lift due to the Victorian garden being completely walled in.
